Inventory of inactive areas for hydrocarbon production licences
Pursuant to Article 32a of the Mining Act, an inventory is made annually before April 1st of those parts of areas for which a hydrocarbon production licence applies, where;
a. no significant activities relating to the exploration for or production of hydrocarbons or the storage of substances have taken place in the previous two calendar years;
b. production activities have ceased.
Significant activities
Significant activities in any event include activities where:
- a. Exploration, production or storage as defined in the Mining Act, Article 1(e), (f) and (i) respectively, has been carried out in the previous two calendar years;
- b. A production plan as referred to in Article 34 has been submitted;
- c. A storage plan as referred to in Article 39 and Article 34 has been submitted.
